Valerie Woods is a Dublin Based soprano with over sixteen years experience in church ceremony solo and ensemble singing, including some international ceremonies.
Valerie has extensive experience on various different stages including:
The National Concert Hall, The Olympia Theatre, Draiocht Theatre and The Waterford Opera House.
Valerie has studied under Mary Brennan of the DIT College of Music. Specialising in Wedding ceremonies, her main focus is on making your occasion as special and memorable as possible for you and your family and loved ones. She is on hand to offer advice on all aspects of your ceremony music. Valerie is more than happy to give advice and assistance in the selection of accompanists and has connections with several accomplished and experienced musicians who can assist in adding to the atmosphere of your big day. Valerie has appeared in productions with the Rathmines and Rathgar musical society and Glasnevin, ESB and the Pioneer club Musical societies. She is a founder member of the Dublin based close harmony group The Musical Suspects, who perform an eclectic mix of various musical styles.
